Nicky Richmond, managing partner at London firm Brechers, was kind enough to spare me some time to take her portrait, part of a project I am running called Object.
Nicky calls it her imperious look. An important look for aspects of her professional life as a highly respected property lawyer.
I remember an engaging, smart and fun person who shared some lovely anecdotes and stories.
The camera belonged to Nicky’s late father.
Some of you may have read Nicky’s moving blog about him; Dad, food and me. I don’t read that many blogs due to the pressures of time but something about this post resonated with me and how I felt about my late father.
Later we were walking towards Park Lane and about to say our farewells. We were chatting about people and how we both liked to help others where we could.
Nicky told me about a lawyer who wrote to her for a job. There was no job available. His CV was not very good. So Nicky wrote back and made suggestions to improve his CV. I liked that.
Says it straight? Says it all…about Nicky Richmond in my opinion oops imo.
Project ‘Object’ photographs people from my social media timeline with an object personal to them. I take a picture and try to find a small but interesting story. If you would like to participate then just drop me a note by clicking here or DM-ing me.
